My Story
My roots - From engineering to puppetry, I followed my heart to preserve India's traditional storytelling arts.
What drives me - I believe puppetry creates meaningful connections in today's digital world, keeping our cultural heritage alive.
Learning journey - Trained extensively in Bharatanatyam and Kathakali, blending these classical arts into my puppet shows.
Recognition speaks - Honored with Sangeet Natak Akademi Puraskar and Padma Shri for contributing to Indian arts.
My Work
What I offer - I create puppet shows, run workshops, organize festivals, and manage a puppet museum.
What makes me different - I uniquely blend traditional puppetry with classical dance forms and contemporary storytelling techniques.
Teaching approach - My workshops focus on hands-on learning, from basic puppet-making to complex theatrical productions.
Cultural hub - Built Mandala Cultural Centre in Bengaluru as a space for learning and experiencing puppet arts.
