My Story
My journey began - From a background in theater and dance, I found my calling in puppetry and started Dhaatu in 2004.
What drives me - The ancient Natyashastra guides my work, as I believe in keeping our rich cultural stories alive through puppetry.
Always learning - International collaborations and cultural festivals have shaped my artistic vision and storytelling approach.
Recognition humbles me - Receiving the Padma Shri wasn't just my achievement, but a recognition for the art of puppetry itself.
My Work
What I do? - I create puppet shows, run cultural festivals, conduct workshops, and manage India's unique puppet museum.
How my services are different? - We blend traditional Indian storytelling with dance and modern puppetry techniques for unique experiences.
Education is key - Our workshops and museum tours help preserve cultural heritage by teaching puppetry to new generations.
Cultural depth - Every show draws from Indian mythology and history, making complex stories accessible through puppetry.
