Paper Crane Lab is a Bangalore-based NGO and Maker Lab dedicated to spreading STEM education across India. We provide a collaborative space equipped with various tools and equipment for electronics, design, computer science, woodworking, and more.
Offerings
PCL Pass
- Community Workshop/Maker Space: Access to all tools and equipment for your projects.
- Topics Covered: Electronics, Design, Computer Science, Woodworking, and more.
- Not a Traditional Co-Working Space: Focus on using the space and equipment rather than just working on a laptop.
- Registration: Choose a time slot via our Google Calendar link. Payment is done in person.
Workshops
- Stop Motion Animation Workshop: Learn to create stop motion animations using board games. Open for all age groups.
- 3D Jewellery Printing Workshop: Design and print your own jewelry using a 3D printer. Participants need to bring a laptop.
- Laser Cutting Workshop: Introduction to laser cutting, making coasters, boxes, and puzzles. Participants need to bring a laptop.
- Intro to 3D Printing Workshop: Learn the basics of 3D printing and create a 3D printed keychain. Participants need to bring a laptop.
- Summer STEM Workshop: Special program for young learners in collaboration with The Green Pocket.
Teaching Opportunities
- Consultant: On-Call Facilitators: Teach middle and high school students in various subjects including mathematics, sciences, coding, and electronics. This is a paid consulting position.
