Bharathanatyam is taught by a teacher with over 25 years of experience in both India and the USA. Trained by one of the most famous Gurus of Kalakshetra, Preetha Arun has presented many of her students in their solo dance debut or the Rangapravesha. With over 200 students, Samarpana represents high standards, discipline, and culture.
The curriculum includes instruction in Indian classical dance theory, fitness and body conditioning, rigorous fundamental training, and technique refinement. Students progress from beginner to advanced levels, and all students concurrently learn yoga to support their dancing.
Samarpana stands out for maintaining the rich traditions of pure classical Bharatanatyam, offering comprehensive training programs, and providing a refresher course for students transferring from other schools. All students will learn yoga concurrently to support their dancing, and those transferring from other schools will undergo a refresher course in their basic steps (adavus).
