Tribe Refund Policy

Welcome to Tribe, a marketplace dedicated to connecting customers with providers of unique services to create memorable experiences. In our endeavor to ensure satisfaction and trust within our community, we have established this Refund Policy. Please review this policy carefully before engaging in transactions on the Tribe platform.

Eligibility for a Refund

Service Not Provided

If a service for which payment has been made is not provided, or if the provider cancels the service for any reason, the customer is eligible for a full refund.

Not as Described

Services that are significantly different from the provider’s description on the Tribe platform may qualify for a refund, subject to our review and determination.

Service-Related Issues

We encourage any issues directly related to the quality of the service provided to be first addressed and resolved with the service provider. If a resolution is not reached, Tribe may step in to mediate and determine the eligibility for a refund.

User-Initiated Cancellations

If a customer cannot avail themselves of a service due to personal reasons, the possibility of a refund will be at the discretion of the service provider. We encourage customers to communicate their situation to the provider at the earliest convenience.

Process for Requesting a Refund

1. Contact the Service Provider: Customers are advised to first attempt to resolve any issues by communicating directly with the service provider through the Tribe platform.

2. Submit a Refund Request: If resolution cannot be achieved directly with the provider, customers may submit a refund request to Tribe, providing detailed information about the transaction and the issue encountered.

3. Evaluation by Tribe: Our team will review the refund request, which may involve mediating the dispute between the customer and provider to determine the eligibility of the refund.

4. Refund Outcome: Customers will be notified of the outcome. Approved refunds will be processed to the original method of payment within 4-5 business days.


  • Refund requests must be made within 7 days of the scheduled completion date for the service.
  • Refunds for "change of mind" are not offered. Customers are encouraged to review service listings carefully before booking.
  • Services that are completed as described by the provider but fail to meet the customer's personal expectations are generally not eligible for refunds.

Provider Discretion

Service providers are advised to clearly state their own cancellation and refund policies on their listings, especially regarding user-initiated cancellations. Tribe reserves the right to mediate where necessary but will respect the provider’s discretion in granting refunds under these circumstances.

Policy Modifications

Tribe reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Notice of significant changes will be provided through the Tribe platform. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
