Learn both solo performance & accompaniment skills
Practice in group settings with regular community performances
We offer comprehensive tabla training following the traditional Guru-Shishya parampara. Our curriculum covers fundamental bols (rhythmic syllables), layakari (rhythmic variations), and sangat (accompaniment) techniques. Students progress from basic compositions to advanced solo performances.
Students passionate about percussion, seeking to master tabla either as a solo instrument or for accompanying classical vocals and instruments.
Classes include specialized training in various taals like Teentaal, Dadra, and Chautaal, with emphasis on understanding the intricate relationship between rhythm and melody in Indian classical music.
